With a product line comprising nearly five million distinct part configurations, meeting customer demands for the highest standards of quality, delivery and service always presents a challenge. Achieving higher levels of customer satisfaction motivated KEMET to adopt an “easy-to-buy from” (ETBF) strategy, which relies on new communication channels and representatives having data at their fingertips to recommend and deliver the right solution for every application. 
Achieving this goal required a digital transformation, which included enabling robust and resilient digital capabilities across the global enterprise. KEMET’s network also needed to  support a new mobile workforce, which made it imperative to provide a fast, reliable and secure network wherever people work. New sites, new joint ventures, and ever-growing capacity requirements also mean the IT team must continuously expand network connectivity and capacity.
