Cloud adoption is on the rise, with over one-third of companies adding cloud-based infrastructure/services and/or migrating existing workloads to cloud (public, private, or hosted) as a primary strategy for ensuring business objectives and goals. IT decision makers are embracing a multicloud approach to leverage cloud-based services. These services both complement and can stimulate reconsideration of broader data protection strategies to gain greater availability and backup/recovery of data and improved performance of latencysensitive applications.
