When it comes to delivering websites for campus, a university IT department faces demands not unlike that of a web development agency. They’re tasked to deliver a range of services (from development to support) to a diverse set of clients with a wide array of requirements and desires. 

The difference is that an agency has the luxury of specialization. They can choose to serve only Drupal or WordPress clients. They can choose to target enterprise applications or mom-and-pop shops. And they can choose to say, “Do it our way, or find another agency.”
