After facing severe headwinds from COVID-19, ranging
from decreased orders to negative impacts on
operations, manufacturers around the world have
started to revamp their operating models and supply
chain strategies—and now feel more prepared in their
ability to successfully navigate future pandemics,
according to new research released from Google Cloud.
The key for manufacturers’ ability to transform—despite
the ongoing pandemic—is their embrace of digital
enablers and disruptive technologies. In fact, nearly
more than two in five manufacturers have actually
increased their use of data and analytics, digital
productivity tools, and public cloud platforms,
